Brian Austin Green Reflects on Past Relationships in Latest Podcast Episode
In a candid exchange on his “Old-ish” podcast, Brian Austin Green opened up about his tumultuous romantic history, discussing his experiences with ex-partners, including Vanessa Marcil and Megan Fox. The actor, best known for his role in Beverly Hills, 90210, spoke frankly with co-hosts Randy Spelling and Sharna Burgess, his fiancée.
Green, who was 30 when he began dating Fox in 2004, recalled their beginnings, noting the complexities added by his son Kassius, whom he shares with Marcil. He described Fox’s initial enthusiasm fading under the weight of responsibilities, stating, “I think it became overwhelming for her.” Their on-and-off romance led to marriage in 2010 and ultimately culminated in a heart-wrenching divorce in 2015, which Green described as “out of nowhere.”
He revealed that their relationship was further strained during a challenging health crisis. When Fox expressed a desire for divorce during a period when he was unwell, Green felt powerless to fight for their marriage. Although they reconciled with the birth of their third child, Journey, the couple ultimately split again in 2020.
Reflecting on Fox’s subsequent relationship with Machine Gun Kelly, Green noted he found himself in a better emotional state to process their divorce, acknowledging the jealousy that had arisen but focusing on his resilience.
Green emphasized that he harbors no regrets about his past. His experiences have led him to cherish his current life with Burgess and their son, Zane. “Sharna is the love of my life,” he concluded, affirming that the struggles he faced ultimately shaped the man he is today.
