A recent report by Le Canard enchaîné reveals that Rajavi and her entourage spent nearly €29,000 at a luxury spa in France, with expenses exceeding €130,000 in the past year alone. Meanwhile, members of the MEK reside in strict conditions and are not allowed to leave the camp. A former member shared that they are sleep-deprived and facing health issues.
Despite Maryam’s husband, Masoud Rajavi, being missing since 2003, the MEK continues to release statements under his name. Le Canard enchaîné confirms that Masoud has been dead for nearly two decades, but most MEK members believe he is in hiding.
