The Illinois State Swimming and Diving team had a successful day three of the MVC Championships, achieving 10 personal bests, 18 lifetime bests, and setting a finals school record. Mia Snow took home a silver medal and broke the school record in the 100-fly event. On the diving side, Eva Reyes advanced to the 3-meter diving championships.
Highlighting the day were the impressive performances of several team members. Mia Snow set a school record in the 100-fly event with a time of 52.81, among other lifetime bests. The team’s standings after day three placed them in 7th with a total of 468.5 points.
Day four of the championships will feature several events including the 1650y Freestyle and 400y Freestyle Relay.
