Famous People Listed in His Address Book

Over 200 documents related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in prison in 2019, were released by the Department of Justice on Feb. 27. Among the documents was a contact book containing a list of names, including celebrities like Alec Baldwin, Naomi Campbell, Minnie Driver, and Mick Jagger.

While being included in the documents does not imply any wrongdoing, it does show that Epstein had contact information for these individuals. Many of the names had been previously reported over the years. One celebrity, Cameron Diaz, was mentioned by one of Epstein’s accusers, but her team denied any association with him.

The Department of Justice noted that these documents are just the first phase of FBI files related to the Epstein investigation and promised transparency in uncovering any potential cover-ups or missing documents. New FBI Director Kash Patel described the release of the files as a “new era” for the Bureau.

Epstein’s connections to high-profile figures, including celebrities, politicians, and business leaders, have been a source of speculation for years. He pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting prostitution from a minor and served time in jail. In 2019, he was arrested on charges of sex trafficking and died by apparent suicide while awaiting trial.
