Richard “Doug” Schoreck, 61, of Kinmundy, passed away at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center in Marion surrounded by his family. Born on February 25th, 1964, he was married to Doris Rhodes for 33 years before their divorce in 2019. Survived by his children and grandchildren, Doug was a member of the Kinmundy Christian Church and worked as a truck driver, enjoying collecting toy trucks and hunting in his free time. Cremation rites will be carried out as per family wishes, with donations being accepted by his sister Tracy Mulvaney at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and his funeral service will be handled by Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home in Salem, Illinois.
