Seoul-set Squid Game in Real Life

Netflix is bringing the sensation of “Squid Game” to its homeland with the opening of “Squid Game: The Experience” in Seoul. Set to open on Friday, the immersive attraction will introduce exclusive challenges inspired by the hit series. The 90-minute adventure will take place in S Factory in Seongsu-dong, offering games like marbles, a treasure hunt, memory steps, red light, green light, tug-of-war, and round and round.

Participants will wear wristbands to track their scores across the challenges, with new twists introduced by the developers to keep things exciting. At the end of the six games, the top six players will compete in an exclusive final game for a grand prize, presented by the Frontman.

Netflix’s head of live experiences, Greg Lombardo, emphasized the goal of bringing the show to life for fans to fully immerse themselves in its universe. Highlighting the cultural impact of “Squid Game,” Lombardo mentioned how the event serves as a bridge between Korean culture and global audiences.

Tickets for “Squid Game: The Experience” are priced at 55,000 won ($38) and are available through Ticketlink. The attraction will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Sundays, and from 10 a.m. to midnight on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays, running through June 25.
