The Fighting Illini softball team will be traveling to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete in the Wooo Pig Classic from Feb. 28-March 2. The team will face off against Missouri State, Iowa, and #11/12 Arkansas over the three-day tournament, with Saturday’s game against Arkansas airing on SEC Network+.

Coach Tyra Perry leads a young team with 17 underclassmen on the roster, including 10 freshmen and three transfer students. Illinois returns with several players earning preseason recognition, showing promise for the upcoming season.
