The team will rely on pitchers Jack Bennett, Dawson Hall, and Drew Whalen in the weekend rotation, while hitters like Austin Haller, Ethan Lizama, Dylan O’Connell, and Camden Ross are expected to make an impact.

The Hilltoppers will face Illinois State for the 27th-30th time, hoping to improve on their 12-14 series record against the Redbirds. Illinois State, coming off a successful 2024 season, will pose a tough challenge with their strong batting lineup and pitching staff.
