Illinois football team recently finalized its 2025 signing class with the addition of linebacker Jack Paris from Fenwick High School. Paris, a three-star recruit, was named the 2024 Chicago Catholic League White Defensive Player of the Year and led Fenwick to the second round of the 2024 IHSA 7A State Playoffs. With a strong track record in high school, Paris brings a solid skill set to the team.
Paris, who hails from River Forest, Illinois, stands at 6-3 and weighs 215 pounds. He received offers from several notable schools such as Akron, Army, Navy, and Princeton. Known for his performance on the field, Paris recorded 83 tackles, 35 tackles for loss, 19 pass breakups, 19 quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery during his junior year. In addition to football, he also excelled in wrestling, baseball, and track in high school.
Illinois’ 2025 signing class also includes talented players such as Grant Beerman, Carson Boyd, Cameron Brooks, Tywan Cox, and many more from various locations across the country. The addition of players like Jack Paris strengthens the team’s roster and provides depth in different positions.
