Reality TV couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag lost their Los Angeles home in the Pacific Palisades fire, as revealed by Spencer’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, in an Instagram post. The entire family was able to evacuate safely, but Stephanie expressed devastation for her nephews who had to watch their house disappear. Stephanie posted about her father’s unsuccessful attempt to save the house from the strong winds fueling the fire.
Spencer also shared footage of the raging fire on social media, showing the devastating impact on his neighborhood. The out-of-control wildfire led to the evacuation of many celebrity residents in the area, including actor James Woods and Eugene Levy. Even actor Steve Guttenberg was seen helping fire crews by moving cars to allow emergency vehicles access to roads.
The fire, which started gaining momentum along West Sunset Boulevard, led to mass evacuation orders affecting roughly 30,000 residents in the star-studded area. The blaze also caused the cancellation of several scheduled events, including film premieres. Despite the chaos caused by the fire, Spencer and Heidi made it clear that they are not part of fellow reality TV alum Bethenny Frankel’s call to go on strike, emphasizing that they are simply unemployed.
