A new conference aimed at supporting and empowering female school leaders is set to take place on June 11 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bloomington. The Women in School Leadership: Allyship, Connection, Engagement (ACE) For School Administrators and Aspiring Administrators Conference is designed to provide a platform for current and aspiring PreK-12 administrators to connect, learn, and be inspired.
With a focus on addressing the lack of female representation in leadership roles in Illinois schools, the conference aims to challenge existing limitations and provide women with the tools and support needed to advance in their careers. The event will feature a diverse lineup of high-profile speakers, including bestselling author Sally Helgesen, who will share their stories and insights on navigating the challenges of leadership.
The conference is the latest initiative in a series of efforts to promote allyship, engagement, and connection among female school leaders in Illinois. By creating a safe space for women to share their experiences, forge networks, and learn from each other, the ACE conference hopes to empower the next generation of women leaders in education and foster inclusive educational environments where all students can thrive.
