Illinois, on the other hand, is led by quarterback Luke Altmyer who has accumulated 2,124 passing yards and 18 touchdowns this season. The Fighting Illini started strong as well at 4-0 but have slipped in the Big Ten standings after losses to top-ranked Oregon and Minnesota.
While winning the Big Ten may be off the table, both teams still have time to finish strong in what has been a competitive season. The upcoming game between Rutgers and Illinois will not be broadcast on TV but fans can catch the action on Peacock’s live stream. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 23 at noon ET at SHI Stadium in New Jersey.
