The Southern Illinois University women’s soccer team secured their second consecutive win of the season with a 3-1 victory over IU-Indianapolis. Head coach Graeme Orr praised the team’s tactical performance, allowing them to utilize their bench and seize the opportunity. The Salukis took the lead with goals from Marta Forne, Brooklyn Maier, and Sophia Schlicklin, with assists from McKensey Bunch, Kylie McDermott, and Schlicklin herself. Fabiana Solano made three saves in goal, facing four shots-on-goal. Despite a late goal from IU-Indianapolis, the Salukis held on for the win.
