The Illinois State Police have reported the discovery of the body of an 18-year-old male in Carroll County on Sunday. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office contacted the ISP around 11:30 a.m. on July 28 to request a death investigation following the finding of the body on Illinois Route 78 just north of Mount Carroll. The deceased has been identified as Jackson T. Kradle of Mount Carroll. Currently, the investigation is in its initial phases and no further details have been released. The community is awaiting updates as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
