Reopened: What to know about Disney’s Haunted Mansion Holiday

Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Holiday is reopening on July 29, featuring decor inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” The attraction was temporarily closed for renovation work, including expanding the outdoor queue and adding a new gift shop. The new queue area will have gardens, fountains, and statues of characters from the attraction.

This year, the attraction will have a new gingerbread house design in the ballroom scene. Access to the Haunted Mansion will only be through the virtual queue via the Disneyland app, with two daily opportunities to request to join the queue. There won’t be a standby queue available at this time, so guests are encouraged to check availability before their visit.

The renovation work is still ongoing, so the new store and outdoor queue will not be open when the attraction reopens. Characters like Jack Skellington and Sally will add “frightfully festive touches” to the mansion. Guests can look forward to a spooktacular experience with this holiday overlay of the classic attraction.

The Haunted Mansion will offer a unique and thrilling experience for visitors looking to celebrate Halloween and the holiday season at Disneyland. With new additions and enhancements, the attraction promises to delight and fright guests as they step into the world of Tim Burton’s iconic film.
