O’Fallon, IL hit by earthquake, reports confirm


Residents in O’Fallon, Illinois were shaken awake on Saturday morning as a 2.4 magnitude earthquake hit the area. The United States Geological Survey confirmed the earthquake occurred at 1:50 a.m. just one kilometer south-southwest of O’Fallon, with a depth of 0.3 kilometers. Ten people reported feeling the earthquake to the USGS.
