Jagger Eaton won a bronze medal in men’s street skateboarding at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, representing the United States. Despite his success, Eaton has regrets and things he would do differently if given the chance, such as not competing with a broken ankle. The fame and attention after the Olympics took a toll on him, leading him to focus on self-care and balance in his life through activities like going to the beach and reading. With newfound discipline and a healthier approach to his sport, Eaton is in a good place mentally and physically as he competes in the Paris Olympics in 2024. Eaton credits his success and skills to his upbringing, where his parents, who were gymnasts, instilled discipline and teamwork in him and his siblings. Eaton competes in both street and park skateboarding disciplines and aims to win medals in both events. He believes that his versatility and skills in both disciplines give him an advantage in competitions. Eaton’s journey to the Paris Games is shaped by his passion for skateboarding and desire to improve after the lessons learned from his experience in Tokyo.
