The 2024 Paris Olympics have begun with an opening ceremony on the Seine featuring performances by Celine Dion and Lady Gaga. Events will take place at iconic landmarks in Paris, as well as in other cities in France and even in Tahiti for the surfing competition. The games will conclude on Aug. 11, followed by the Paralympics from Aug. 28 to Sept. 8. NBC and USA Network will air the games in the U.S., while Peacock will stream them exclusively.

Viewers can watch the games on various streaming platforms or with cable providers that carry NBC and USA Network. The Olympics will also be aired in 4K HDR and 5.1 surround sound on USA Network, with some carriers offering coverage in Dolby Vision and Atmos. The schedule includes a variety of sports starting from the opening ceremony on July 26 until the closing ceremony on Aug. 11.
