The Illinois State Fair is offering two more opportunities for fairgoers to save money on tickets for upcoming events. The Grandstand Box office will have extended hours on July 25 and July 27 for in-person ticket purchases. In addition to concert tickets, tickets for events at The Arena, such as the Illinois State Fair Rodeo, Truck and Tractor Pulls, and Demolition Derby, can be purchased at the box office.
At the Emmerson Building, discounted Mega Passes, Jumbo Passes, admission booklets, and parking passes are available for purchase. Mega Passes and Jumbo Passes can be bought for $80 and $90 respectively until July 31, with prices increasing thereafter. The Admission Book provides 11 any-day admissions to the fair for just $45, while a Seasonal Infield Parking Pass can be purchased for $40.
For those who have already purchased Mega Passes or Jumbo Passes, they can pick them up at the Emmerson Building to avoid long lines at the fair. Regular hours at the Emmerson Building are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on July 25 and July 27. Fairgoers can also purchase tickets online through Ticketmaster, but will incur additional fees.
