Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Utopia of the Seas, launched with short three-and-four-night sailings to the Bahamas and Nassau. The ship features new venues like Pesky Parrot, a Caribbean tiki bar, and Royal Railway – Utopia Station, an immersive dining experience in custom train cars. Guests can enjoy a lively atmosphere with events like the One Hit Wonders Street Party and Royal Kappa Chi. The ship also offers family-friendly programming like the superhero parade featuring the Effectors. Prices for a three-night cruise start at $943 per person based on double occupancy. Other highlights include the Spare Tire grab-and-go snack station, Solarium Suites with panoramic views, and updated amenities like Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar and an extended Ultimate Abyss slide. The Aqua80too show in the AquaTheater showcases jaw-dropping acrobatics to music, while the Central Park neighborhood offers live music and a more relaxed atmosphere. Utopia of the Seas aims to provide a variety of experiences for guests, from high-energy parties to family-friendly activities and serene dining options. Royal Caribbean Group’s CEO Michael Bayley emphasized the importance of creating memorable moments for guests during the ship’s inaugural preview cruise.
