Kynleigh Fox of Galesburg, recently crowned Li’l Miss Illinois 2024 through the Miss Illinois Youth Program, is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. The 9-year-old, who will be entering fourth grade at Galesburg Christian School, impressed judges with her dancing talent and interview skills. She was named Overall Top Interview at the pageant.
Fox, the daughter of Stacy Dunham, is committed to her platform of responsibilities, which includes giving to the homeless and spreading mental health awareness. She regularly visits nursing homes to hand out cookies and is a member of the Jumpin Js Tumbling team in Galesburg, as well as a competitive cheerleader and dancer.
During the pageant, Lia Barraza Sloan of Galesburg was named first runner-up, showcasing the talent and dedication of young girls in the community. Fox expressed her excitement and gratitude on her Li’l Miss Illinois Facebook page, stating that she still feels like she’s in a dream.
