A woman with a concealed-carry license shot a teenage girl after being stabbed near Chicago’s 31st Street Beach. The incident occurred late Saturday night after an argument between a 17-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman. The teen stabbed the woman in the arm, prompting the woman to fire her gun and strike the teenager in the shoulder. The woman was taken to the hospital and is in good condition, while the teenager was treated and released before being taken into custody. The woman had a valid concealed-carry license and Firearms Owners Identification Card, allowing her to legally carry a gun. Police are investigating the incident.
